My Project

I teach in a rural, low-income district where many students may not have access to items they need. With this project, I hope to give them that access, at their fingertips.

With your help, students will be able to freely take and use items they need for hunger, hygiene, and care in my classroom.

I have had many students come to me for deodorant, a toothbrush, menstrual products, and snacks. It's clear they need these items, and I want them to continue feeling comfortable coming to me for help. This project will allow them that access and privilege which in turn will allow them to take care of their basic needs. Having basic needs met then means they are free to learn.
