We had hundreds of students and community members participating and helping us spread our message of Hope, Help and Strength.\r\n\r\nOur club members were thrilled to be supported by Donors Choose. They actively participated in all aspects of the planning process. Eight of our peer leaders spoke at the beginning of the Color Run to share our vision and emphasize the importance of identifying our own sources of strength: Positive Friends; Mentors; Spirituality; Generosity; Healthy Activities; Mental Health Access; Physical Health/Medical Access; and, Family Support.\r\n\r\nThis year, the proceeds from our Color Run will support a day long training for new, and returning, students. Each bag was decorated with positive stickers and filled with messages of inspiration to encourage Hope, Help and Strength.\r\n\r\nWe utilized the survival kits as prizes for our month long Mental Health Digital Bingo game. Every student in the high school and middle school were invited to participate in BINGO. Participants received a digital BINGO board and received a different Source of Strength each morning in May. If the students had the Strength they marked it off their board until they received BINGO and our club members took pride in delivering prizes when participants got BINGO. \r\n\r\nThis is our second year doing this activity and it has become something that all of our student look forward to.
