Help me give my students food items to end their hunger and food insecurities.

My Project

My school is full of wonderful students who come to school to learn. Many of them are facing hardships such as poverty, homelessness, and food insecurity. Teachers at my school not only care about our students academically, but are doing our best to provide resources for their essential needs too.

For many of these students, school served breakfast and lunch are their only meals.

This project will help provide students with some extra food items for when they are hungry.

These food items are items that are kid friendly and also healthy options for students to maintain a healthier lifestyle. The pasta, beef stew, and rice provide protein and much needed calories for young learners to maintain focus in the classroom.

The cereal cups, breakfast bars, and cereal snack bars allow students to have breakfast when arriving tardy to school. This allows them to still have something to get their brain awake and ready for learning.
