Hundred Chart Room Rug!

My students need a rug for the classroom so they can have an opportunity to sit with me on the floor and do active hands on learning with the hundred chart! We cannot wait to learn!

My Students

I have a class of 22 sweet excited, school hungry kids that love to be in the room together.

We have so much fun learning and getting excited about new ideas.

We make learning silly and fun and we love to promote creativity and investigate things we don't know yet!

My students have just grown and supported each other so much this year and it is amazing to watch them flourish in first grade!

And if there is a way to help us improve or learn new things we would love the opportunity to.

We can't wait to see what other new resources we can use to help us in our classroom!

My Project

The students will be able to actively use this rug in their counting.

We will be able to stand on each number and count forward or backward.

This rug will help us skip numbers and practice place value skills.

We cannot wait to actually stand on this rug and use it in our learning and physically get to move from number to number and really understand those numbers in order and how to use them for addition or subtraction!

This will also give us a chance to sit together and read on the floor as a class and watch videos that inspire us all year long!
