The students will be able to actively use this rug in their counting. We will be able to stand on each number and count forward or backward. This rug will help us skip numbers and practice place value skills. We cannot wait to actually stand on this rug and use it in our learning and physically get to move from number to number and really understand those numbers in order and how to use them for addition or subtraction! This will also give us a chance to sit together and read on the floor as a class and watch videos that inspire us all year long!
