My Students

For the past 20 years, I have had the opportunity to teach the students at my school. We are one of the most diverse schools in the country; our students come from all over the globe and together we make a beautiful family on our campus.

There are over 30 different languages spoken on our campus; there are students of every skin color.

They are all beautiful and every day I learn more about where they have come from and their unique stories.

We are 100% free lunch on our campus, most of our students live below the poverty line.

My Project

I believe that understanding our students' stories is key to acceptance, celebration and inclusion. We plan to continue the Humans of Crawford story line, where we are able to share the unique stories of all our students.

We hope to educate, encourage and enlighten people to the unique backgrounds and journeys that our students have experienced.

By documenting our students and their images, we hope to empower them and the community.

Students will be encouraged to share their individual stories and our yearbook staff will document to share on our social media and yearbook.
