This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We have started our garden project! This is an exciting time for our students. Some of them are getting an opportunity to participate in an experience that they wouldn’t otherwise have a chance to.

We want this to be a welcoming and happy place for our students and community!

For this project, we are making our garden more appealing with some bulbs and flowering seeds to make it eye catching. We have found out that seeds need a starting point, and we will use the mini greenhouse with a grow light to get our seeds growing before potting them. In addition to the greenhouse, we will use starter trays and potting soil to give our plants their best chance to grow into healthy plants. This project will allow students an opportunity to learn about sustainability products, irrigation, and soil. This will also be a rewarding project when our hard work is done. So help us get our seeds started, so that we can watch our vegetables and flowers grow.
