My Project

My students work best when collaborating with their peers. This project allows them to take on roles within their groups to improve life skills such as speaking/listening and how hard work reaps rewards.

Plants have been linked to improved concentration and memory as well as a reduction in stress.

Research has also linked plants with increased productivity and reduced mental fatigue, all of which can be beneficial in the classroom environment.

Gardening creates a sense of community, and will also help my students learn! Students will research about what it takes to care for a garden and work in groups to analyze data concerning plant growth. Additionally, having these plants in our room will help create a pleasant environment.
