Despite their challenges, my exuberant students show up every day and ready to work on their personal learning deficits. My students are inundated with rigorous work that tends to require a significant amount of stamina to stay focused. As a result, they experience a considerable amount of pent-up energy as the day progresses. Unfortunately, my students do not have the skills to self-monitor the energy that can lead to distraction defeat. Not only will this project make my room a safe space for them to exert their energy, it will maximize their learning time in ELA!
