My Students

I have a classroom of scientists! This group of students love to learn new things and constantly keep me on my "teaching toes"!

I teach 26 of the brightest, most curious students in South Carolina!

On a daily basis, we are constantly asking questions and researching to find out how things work, or why things happen. We love to learn, so it is so important that my students have access to hands on materials to help us grow.

My Project

These 5 circuit kits will be used as rotating stations for our electricity unit. The students will explore the kits independently, or with partners to find out how various circuits work. The kits are an exciting tool to help further the students' curiosity, and keep them engaged throughout the unit. Some of the kits include a snap circuit mini kit, an electric bell kit and a laser in motion kit.

This project will make a difference to my students because it allows them to not only conduct actual science investigations that require them to use the scientific process, but it offers them interesting kits to learn how everyday items come to life.

This excitement will keep students interested in the subject of science, and help them remain eager fourth grade scientists!
