My Students

Welcome to Ms. F's Fish Tank! I have 18 little fish in my class, and we are all missing each other terribly during this time apart! Due to the Covid-19 shut down of our schools, distance learning is not possible for many of my little kindergarten fish. My students, through no fault of their own, come to me with few resources and many of them do not have the technology or resources needed to learn from home. My "little fish" are eager to learn, and these tablets will enable them to continue their kindergarten education!

My Project

How can you feed a fish without food? How can you learn when you do not have the right resources? Due to the Covid-19 shut down of our schools, distance learning is not possible for many of my "little fish".

However, with your help, I will be able to check out tablets loaded with educational activities and books to 6 of my students who do not have the technology needed at home!

Many of these students are ESL students and their parents are unable to truly help them learn at home. With these tablets, I will load self-checking educational activities based on their individual learning levels to help them learn and grow at home! These activities include counting, addition, subtraction, phonological awareness, letter recognition, age appropriate books, and sight word activities. But wait! Once our school doors are re-opened, all students will have the opportunity to use these tablets to reinforce skills being taught in the classroom.
