My Students

Our school is very successful in preparing students for college and success in life.

Yet, the achievements of our students are not limited to the classroom.

Indeed, they excel in sports.

Our school has fielded numerous state championship athletic teams, and the school is frequently a contender for the Ford Cup, an award given to the best athletic program in the state of Louisiana. I'm the athletics director.

We have twenty competitive sports teams including soccer, football, cross-country, golf, volleyball, tennis, swimming, basketball, softball, baseball, and indoor/outdoor track and field.

I personally coach girl's basketball and love it!

My Project

We just finished heavy renovations of our sports facilities and have a new concession stand that we need to outfit to provide food to our football and soccer parents and fans.

Hotdogs are a popular items in stadiums, but we do not own a hotdog machine.

It would be wonderful to have one.

The model that we chose is convenient and safe for our student volunteers who man the sales of the concession stand.

Our Key Club students work in the concession stands on game days, and they "run the show" for their peers by providing the food to game attendees. They learn to plan and schedule and to get organized. They learn how to prepare and serve food.
