My Project

Every year, I like to get recorders for all my third grade students. It is a great way to teach them many basic music reading skills, all while having fun!

They love learning the classics like Hot Cross Buns and Mary had a Little Lamb.

And they especially love being able to take their recorders home after we finish the unit, so they can continue to practice at home. There are many fun online resources to play recorder, and I provide those for them to continue their learning.

Our ultimate goal is to make lifelong musicians, who enjoy learning and participating in music for the rest of their lives!
