Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I have a brilliant idea to create a welcoming space for my students from this year to the years to come. I would like to create a snack and hot chocolate nook for my students and create a kitchen space with a microwave and a small fridge.

What student doesn't like snacks and hot chocolate?

A lot of my students really enjoyed it when we had hot chocolate days. I want to create this excitement every day. I want my students to have the luxury of being offered a snack and hot chocolate throughout the year. This is to hopefully build an environment that my students want to come to every day with enthusiasm without the worries of hunger.

Additionally, having a place to warm food and refrigerate certain snacks for the students will add a certain level of connection for my students.
