My students need 30 See & Store Book Pouches, with a collection of 30+ books, including Sports titles, "The Judy Moody Totally Awesome Collection" and "Rodrick Rules (Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series #2)".

I teach children how to read. Do you remember hating to read? I sure do. Why was that? Is it because no one read to us? Was it because we just couldn't find a book of high interest. No book got us "hooked"?

Many families don't have literature in their homes. This project would allow high interest books to go home with the children. Parents and students will then have books that they can read to their children and soon their children will be able to read to them.

Reading all begins with being read to. These books will be of interest to many inner city children who often don't find enjoyment in reading. I need to put literature that the children have interest in into their hands.

Please help begin the reading process with these take home bags filled with wonderful literature and reach the goal of reading for 20 minutes each night.
