My Project

My students are among the smallest population of public education students. They require a self-contained classroom away from their peers in order to insure their learning and safety and the learning and safety of their peers. While it may be hard to believe, these kiddos have some of the biggest, most emphatic hearts you will likely encounter. They just struggle with interactions even though they want very much to interact with their peers.

These games, role playing activities, and crafts will motivate students with emotional/behavioral disorders to meet their daily goals.

Students in my classroom have a daily opportunity to demonstrate safe, respectful, and responsible behaviors. When students meet their identified expectations, they are allowed a small amount of time at the end of the school day to participate in self chosen, motivating activities. My students have identified crafts, games, and role-play materials as their motivations. While I know this list seems expensive, it is a school year's or more of motivation!
