My students attend a diverse, urban high school with a school population of over 3,000 students. The majority of students qualify for free or reduced lunch. There were 68 different countries represented in the graduation class of 2017. The high school also has a huge English Language Learner population along with Special Education students.
My students are seniors in high school.
My students have actively participated in the Mock Trial Program for 3 to 4 years. Each of those students have shown both hard work and commitment and should be honored at graduation.
My Project
The graduation cords are for my graduating Mock Trial high school students. These students deserve recognition for their hard work and being active civically in learning about the law. In addition, these cords would add an extra sense of specialty and uniqueness to their graduation day. It will be something they will remember for the rest of their lives.
These cords will show my students that when you work hard and are committed to an academic activity, you will be recognized and honored.
Furthermore, it will demonstrate to them that people in our community are supporting their academic activities along with making their graduation day a little more special.
