My Students

How do you finish homework when there's no place to write? Many homes now have no table nor a space where kids can work on their homework quietly. These clipboards will enable kids to work at home under any conditions.

My students are K-8 English Language Learners.

Many of their families work around the clock to provide a safe home for their children. Tables and desks, however, are a luxury. Some of them have parents who are learning the importance of a quiet place for their children to complete homework. It should become part of the family routine.

My Project

I'm requesting 30 awesome, blue clipboards so that my students can use them at home to complete math, writing, social studies, and science work. They can sit on a couch or on a bed and get their work done. Students will learn that working each night on math skills, spelling, and writing can be done as a family even if there is no table or desk available.

Some children are learning along with their parents that homework and study skills are a part of a successful school and life experience.

No need for a table or desk when you have a fun, hard surface to work on. Having a special office/school supply of their own will inspire them to work hard. The bright blue boards will remind students to finish their homework.
