My Project
My amazing English Learner students are so excited for summer but we need a few things to make the end of this year as fun as possible and to get us off to a great start next year.
Help us remember our middle school friends, get prizes for our hard work, and build up our academic vocabulary in the fall.
The eighth graders will collect autographs from their friends on the white t-shirts before they head off to high school. The candies will be used as rewards and incentives and the workbooks will provide structure in teaching academic vocabulary as next year gets started. We also will be able to publish and bind our own books using the comb binders and a sweet, new (old) machine I acquired for use in my classroom. It is going to be a wonderfully screen-free endeavor!
These last few weeks always blow by but so much is still happening inside our classrooms. We need your help to finish up and close out the year with a bang. Thank you in advance for your support.
