Home for the Jagbots: Organizing our Robotics Workplace

Help me give my students items they need to perfect their robotics lab. They desperately need the Black + Decker Power Drill and additional tools. We can never have too much shelving!

My Students

When I moved in the area and started teaching at my school, the first thing I noticed about my students was the difference in their character. I'm talking common courtesy, respect, positive attitude, etc.

These kids are so sweet!

Their character is what makes it so easy to teach them. They also show me a great eagerness to learn and demonstrate their willingness to work hard.

My Project

Often different parts, pieces, and tools are left in our work area in an unorganized way due to the lack of shelving. The shelves will help us organize and store items. The robots can use part of the shelves as their home where they will reside in-between competitions.

The students experienced the necessity for a cordless drill at our last robotics competition.

They must be super fast in order to address all troubleshooting issues in a timely manner (often in less than 5 minutes).

In the past they have used lights from their cell phones. No more! Finally some real flashlights to help us build with precision!
