Help me give my students supplies that will allow me to turn my dining room into a classroom. I will be able to use ink to create the lessons and materials needed, the binders will help organize these materials.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
When we left school in March, we thought it would be for a couple of weeks so they could sanitize the school. I never imagined we would be out for the rest of the school year.
Distance learning is very difficult for most of our students especially my particular students.
I have a self-contained ABA classroom. My students depend on routine and structure in order to be successful. Nearly all of my students are from low-income households. Many have other siblings who may or may not have specific challenges as well. Many of my students do not have their own devices and are sharing with siblings. Teaching materials are very important and as a new teacher, my resources are very limited at this time. The materials would be utilized while teaching and modeling practices during distance learning and then utilized in the classroom when we get back in the fall.
My Project
Please help me acquire the supplies needed to create the materials and lessons needed to teach my students remotely. Ink and binders will allow me to continue to print and organize lessons and materials needed so that I can effectively model the lessons to my students.
The supplies will allow me to create a classroom in my home.
I would create posters and visuals that will allow my students to more actively participate in our virtual lessons. I will be able to organize these materials for use in lessons once we are able to get back into our buildings.
