Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Help give my students a comfortable place to learn and grow.

Students spend more time at school than at home - it should feel comfortable and welcoming to them.

I'm asking for special lighting to meet sensory needs, a way to create scent in our room to make it smell nice (have you ever smelled a class full of middle schoolers?), and comfortable places to sit and rest. We want to fill the room with encouraging posters and beautiful art.
