Holiday Story for 1st Grade!

My Students

Our school is nestled in Atascocita. Our families often struggle to find employment and opportunity. Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly.

We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are!

They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!

My Project

One thing that students are missing during this distance learning phase is having books in their hands. I would like to give them the opportunity to have a special and fun book with them. It is really important for them to take a break from the screen and read an actual book.

My first grade students will love to be able to read a brand new book for the holidays.

My students will love to be able to follow along when we read this story in our classroom. Instead of seeing on the screen they will be able to turn the pages and follow along themselves. The smiles on their faces will be priceless.
