Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The COVID-19 pandemic has stopped students from attending school physically and has caused them to break out of their daily routines. We will be doing full remote learning and passing out learning packets to families.

One hundred percent of students at our school receive free breakfast and lunch.

Our district has continued to feed students with the Stop, Grab, and Go program.

Since our school building will be physically closed to students, I'm trying to get my students the materials they need to help them learn.

My Project

My four and five-year-old students LOVE to play games! I need resources to put together math and science games for my students.

These games will help students increase their math, reading and science skills.

These hands-on games are developmentally appropriate for little ones and have easy and hard levels that can be tailored to meet individual student needs. The phonics beanbags, busy town, and Pete the Cat game will increase fine motor skills, counting, color, shape, letter and numeral recognition. Students will also learn to roll a die, take turns, wait their turn, and develop social skills.

The geoboard, Highlight Hidden Picture and sticker hidden picture books will increase problem-solving skills, designing, and critical thinking skills. The candy and Annie's snacks will be a nice treat for students after virtual learning.
