This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The holiday season is a magical time that brings joy and excitement, and I want to capture this spirit in our 9th grade English classroom. By stocking our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) store with popular, high-demand items like gamer headphones, trendy lip gloss, sturdy tape, a reliable stapler, fun stickers, an organized planner, and a sought-after Stanley cup, I aim to keep students motivated and engaged as we enter the holiday season.

Our PBIS system rewards students for positive behavior, academic effort, and acts of kindness.

With your generous support, these items will double as special holiday gifts, adding extra cheer and excitement to our classroom atmosphere. As students exchange their hard-earned points for these festive rewards, they will experience a sense of accomplishment and holiday joy, reinforcing the importance of good behavior and academic dedication.

Our school serves a diverse student body in a Title 1 community, and many of my students face daily challenges outside of the classroom. As the holidays approach, I want to ensure that each student feels seen, celebrated, and rewarded for their efforts. The items requested are highly desired by teens and will motivate them to stay focused and positive during the holiday season, a time when engagement can sometimes wane.

Your contribution will provide students with rewards that acknowledge their hard work and perseverance. By supporting our PBIS store, you’re not only bringing holiday joy to our classroom but also encouraging students to continue making positive choices that benefit their education and personal growth.
