My Students

My students come from various socioeconomic backgrounds. Many of them do not have access to technology at home to complete research and research-based projects. Having technology available to them at school will give these students the same advantage as students with technology at home.

Sixty-nine percent of our students participate in the National School Lunch Program.

To qualify for free lunch, children's family income must be under $15,171. 59.9% of students receive free lunch. To qualify for reduced lunch, children's family income must be below $21,590 annual income. 8.9% of students at our school receive reduced lunch.

My Project

These seating options will make my students feel more successful. They will take ownership in their new and improved classroom. It will provide a fun and unique approach to learning. Also, this flexible seating plan will bring out their creativity and take their learning to whole new level.

Students today struggle with the old-fashioned classroom seating.

They see a new contemporary style everywhere they go in the world. For example, these seating options such as padded stools, stability balls and balancing pods, will help students stay focused and allow them to concentrate while learning. We need to keep our students engaged and make a fun, learning environment. Please consider donating to this project.
