My students will use iPads in the classroom to conduct research for project-based learning projects. Many of my students do not have access to technology at home to complete projects that require internet access to complete the assignment. They will also use the iPads to take mandatory state tests, such as STAR Reading, STAR Early, and Discovery Education. These tests are used to determine areas of strengths and weaknesses for the students. We also participate in the Accelerated Reading Program. My students will be able to use the iPads to take AR tests after reading books to test for comprehension.
