My Students

My passion is teaching our young scholars about health and fitness so that they are able to make informed decisions in order to live healthy, active lives. Over the last two years I've started flag football, track, basketball teams, and softball teams.

Our team is a group of dedicated, female athletes that are hungry for their first win.

Our captains help push their teammates to work their hardest. When one scholar struggles with failure, the other ladies help boost her confidence and do not let her give up.

My Project

My students need softball bats and a practice net. We had out first season last year, and while there were many highlights, we also have many areas to improve upon. Because the softball team has gained popularity, we have new teammates that need additional equipment to practice. The bats will be used for our new members. We've had great success with the ones we already have and now just need the new ones for greater success and additional practice for our new members.

We are building a legacy at our school and in the community.

This group of female pioneers have taught each other the meaning of teamwork and dedication. They are also learning sportsmanship and making connections with other female athletes around New York City. The girls are having a great time working hard, practicing, and playing together.
