At my school, I only have access to the gymnasium during first period. All other physical education classes are held in a classroom on the 3rd floor. While it was difficult at first, I have managed to come up with engaging activities that allow for the best use of space. The scholars are appreciative of the movement they are able to do in the classroom. Because many of them are not allowed out of the house after school and on the weekends because of safety issues, their time outside is only during school hours. For this reason I want to start up a new school sports team - softball, in order for our young ladies to increase school pride, athleticism, and teamwork. When it comes to school spirit, our scholars are never lacking and this would just be another opportunity for them to show their Royal pride.
