Help me give my students supplies to create their one pager on their favorite ancient civilization.

My Project

Students will be creating a One Pager on their choice of an ancient civilization. This one pager will allow students to take charge of their learning! Students will choose an ancient civilization or historical topic that interests them, explore it deeply, and show their understanding in creative ways. Everyone’s page will be different because all learners are unique.

Each student will create three meaningful questions and answer them in their own words.

They will show what they've learned through drawings, diagrams, or symbols. They will use their creativity and voice to explain their history topic that they chose. Students will be able to show pride in their work — make it authentic and thoughtful. Included one their one pager will be three vocabulary words meaningful towards their topic.

The format will have a colorful layout with a border or minimal text with symbols. Included on their one pager will have cultural knowledge, self interest and creativity. Their one pager will be a personal expression of their learning on their ancient civilization.

Students will be using pencils to draw their ancient civilization pictures and colored markers and colored pencils for their project drawings. Extra chargers are needed for their computers to be charged. Snack treats will be given to the students during and at the completion of their project. All of their work will be filed away in file folders.
