Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school strives to get students to release their creativity in various forms. Each child in our school holds different hidden talents and strengths. Our job as teachers is to get those hidden talents and strengths and bring them out for each student to thrive in what is the journey to be a successful individual in our modern day society. The students in my class strive for excellence through creativity. They all inherently care about one another and continually make an effort to improve in all aspects.
In one of my classes, I have 12 students out of 20 who can at times have issues hearing videos being presented in class.
Each student has an assigned group and has made it clear that they struggle to hear certain videos that are used to introduce information. In getting a portable speaker the students will be extremely happy that they can listen with ease.
My Project
This speaker will enhance the classroom experience. My classroom is a place that my students really enjoy. All of my students love being able to hear videos provided for further research on topics clear. Students will be able to listen to music to help keep them focused on assignments done in class.
With this new speaker, my students will be able to listen to videos, music, speeches, and podcasts about information in history.
They love being able to listen to music while their working. My students even created a game to keep them focused with the music. Anything that can help them get engaged in the classroom is all I want for them.
