The use of our Promethean board is a daily activity in my classroom. Using the book online, allows students to engage in interactive activities, videos, and interactive maps. Students come to the front of the classroom to follow along videos and to become more active in interactive activities. However, the tablets that we have in the classroom are now outdated and have made it difficult to use for certain activities. The tablets will allow my students be able to do more interactive group assignments where they will be able to collaborate with one another. In acquiring these tablets, students will be allowed an opportunity to explore the many resources made available to them to further expand their hunger for knowledge. Most importantly, students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether their materials are going to work or not.
