My school is full of multicultural events throughout the school year. My parents and students work hard to maintain their culture. Parents have various ethnic backgrounds and families from India, China, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Korea. My parents are supportive, respectful, and helpful. I have student families who greatly value the quality of education for their child and appreciate the time and effort put in.
My students LOVE to read, write, and create.
They are bright children with great motivation who come to school everyday ready to learn. They have a great desire to succeed. We do this by displaying their work nicely on the walls for a positive classroom environment. The students at my school are friendly, encouraging, and helpful to others. They are curious about the world around them. I have student jobs for each of my students to encourage independence.

My Project
Hello!
I am requesting supplies from Amazon Business to help my class throughout the school year in history, activities, and positive encouragement.
My students work in small teams on a daily basis. Maintaining a positive working environment has always been very important to me. So, we have a point system for teams. The team with the most points each week chooses one prize from the prize box. It works very well, and the students love it! I'd love to refresh my prize box with items that I know they would appreciate and strive for.
My students love learning about History! I would love to supply the classroom with topics to support learning, such as Missions. We do a big project and having these would greatly help!
I am also asking for pencil sharpeners! As all teachers know, pencil sharpeners are a necessity and having a good one is important because they can break during the year. My students have class jobs and like to sharpen pencils during recess or after school (voluntary helpers).
Another request is for new and fun activities. My students have a Choice Time area in the room, filled with baskets of "extra fun" activities. I really need a few additional activities for 4th grade to help engage the students in learning throughout the school year.
