My Students

My fifth grade students are so excited to be the leaders of the school. They are ready to have the best year of learning yet. It is a challenging year with 18 of the students learning from home and 42 of them being on a hybrid schedule, which means one day in school then the next day at home learning remotely. My students are up for the challenge and need the best programs to help them learn, whether they are in person or virtual learners.

My Project

This program will be used in the classroom, as well as at home. Social studies can be hard for the students to make a connection to, because it is hard for the students to imagine a life different from their own.

I am requesting a subscription to Studies Weekly which is an engaging program with excellent video clips and primary sources embedded within the lessons.

It also rewards students when they stay on task and complete their work.

The Studies Weekly assessments provide automatic feedback, so if there is something they do not understand, then the student can go back and look at the material again or come to me for help.
