The shelf divides the kitchen play area from the carpet area and it holds materials for building and playing with cars. I have also shown students how the shelf can be used as a puppet stage. Overall, the shelf has helped our environment feel cozy and clean. \r\nThe light table has become an exploration table. Students have built structures on it using the clear magnetic blocks, they have put animals on it, and have observed the light going through felt pieces from The Three Little Pigs story. \r\nThis donation has provided me more wall space to hang up important learning materials. At the front of the room I was able to hang the calendar, to go bag, Solution Suitcase for solving conflicts, and Social emotional posters. I have also used the 3M hooks to hang up pocket charts with picture cards so that my non-verbal students can use them to communicate. \r\nYour donation has made a significant improvement on our classroom environment and I am so thankful to you!","fullyFundedDate":1754177014192,"projectUrl":"project/learning-by-playing/9480309/","projectTitle":"Learning by Playing","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Molly","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9608837_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753226881267","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9608837"},{"teacherId":711889,"projectId":8640789,"letterContent":"My students were incredibly excited about the new Sphero Bolts. One team wants to hold a race. Another team wants to set up a maze and steer the robots around obstacles. All the kiddos were pleased to learn that the practice they have with using block programming will transfer to creating commands for the Bolt.\r\n\r\nWith just the brief time we have worked with the new robots, I have seen kiddos who normally don't speak up much in class step forward as leaders and help other students.
