My Project

Dear Donors,

I am excited to share a project close to my heart that aims to revolutionize learning for my extraordinary students through high-interest reading materials.

This directly aligns to CSDE ESSER priorities A: Learning Acceleration, Academic Renewal, and Student Enrichment. As an educator deeply committed to instilling a love for reading, I am seeking your support in providing a collection of captivating books tailored to my diverse classroom.

We are beginning an Independent Reading block at our school to foster the love of reading and to help make up for loss from Covid-19. The requested materials include a range of high-interest books and literary resources carefully chosen to match the varied interests and reading levels of my students. These resources will make a significant impact on their learning by fostering curiosity, sparking imagination, and strengthening literacy skills.

The main goal of this project is to cultivate a positive reading culture, creating an environment where literature becomes a source of joy and connection. By offering a diverse selection of engaging books, I aim to empower my students to become lifelong learners and critical thinkers.

What makes my students special is their incredible diversity, both culturally and academically. Your support will bridge these differences, connecting their unique experiences with the world of literature. Together, we can inspire a love for learning that extends far beyond the classroom.

Thank you for considering this project and for contributing to the transformative journey of these exceptional students.
