The students had a year and half with very little structure. Last year was better, but it takes more than one year to get back to normal. Transitioning back to the classroom is going to be a long process. Flexible seating allows students to be comfortable and more able to focus on the learning at hand. As the year goes on the amount of students in my class continues to increase. I need more seating for my growing class. Adding the option to stand at a desk or sit low to the ground will help keep the students engaged, comfortable and allow them to decide how their learning space will look and feel.
