Help me give my students their best running season. Our cross country athletes need tent panels to keep out the heat and benches to rest on after a long run.
The students who participate on the Cross Country team at my school range from 7th-12th grade. They come from all kinds of backgrounds but have found a family in the cross country program. Our runners are special because they encompass all ability levels from beginner to state champions.
This program is meant to benefit all students-athletes wanting to be a part of a team.
They spend months training in the heat and humidity in order to compete at a high level. They are dedicated to the mission of the team...One Team, One Family.
My Project
For the past three years, our cross country team has been the home of many talented student-athletes. We have seen students win state championships as well as impressive scholarships to advance their running career. This project will help continue to create a high-quality program for our current team as well as our future members.
Our program has grown by 30% this year.
As we continue to grow and build the program, we need help providing equipment for the students to use. We have chosen items such as tent panels to help keep out the Memphis heat, and benches to allow our athletes a place to rest between events. We also want to provide them with massage rollers to help keep their muscles healthy.
