Hey Mom, We are Reading a Novel in History!!!!

My students need 25 copies of the novel "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas".

South Carolina teacher needs books for middle school students. I am an eighth grade social studies teacher that incorporates historical fiction into the classroom.

My students are unable to go out and purchase novels. My school is unable to purchase a class set of novels. We have already completed one novel and I had to borrow the books from another school. My students loved reading a novel in social studies. It put faces and names with events in history and the students could relate.

I just need a class set of 25 novels to read during the fourth nine weeks of school. My students are unable to purchase their own novels.

If you buy these books, my students can see the Holocaust through the eyes of a boy their age who befriend a boy in Auschwitz. It is a new way and a different view to teach this tragic event in history. Please buy these books for my students.
