This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am the luckiest teacher alive! I teach 17 special education preschoolers! They are each so individually curious and sweet! They have made so much progress this year! Every day they bring so much joy to my and my paraprofessionals' lives. We want to give our students new educational toys to use their imagination and learn from! These new educational toys will allow my students to get some updated activities. The bbq and Disney playset toys will engage their learning and imagination development as they develop important social skills while playing! We have spent some time teaching our students how to play and use their imagination! Now, they are ready to take what they have learned and just enjoy some new activities that we specifically picked out to interest them such as dress-up items and matching games that will help develop their fine motor skills! These items also include a train, a play firehouse, and indoor recess activities!
