Here Comes Semester Two, Help Us With Supplies Anew!

Help me give my students a refresher on some basic math supplies like new crayons, markers, and scissors. We also need a refill on paper and motivational stickers for displays and student work.

My Project

I teach a group of highly energetic and intelligent 5th-grade students in PA. My students are curious and courageous but highly needy. Because of their low-income/high-poverty backgrounds and the absence of many life experiences, they often lack confidence in being good students.

This means that my students need a different approach to the 'traditional' methods of other schools.

I consistently seek opportunities for my students to achieve their highest potential so they can reach every goal they set throughout their lives. I am a firm believer in giving each individual student what he/she needs to be successful not only in school but in life.

My students love hands-on learning, center time, and project-based learning. This means we go through A LOT of supplies. We constantly need a refresh of markers, crayons, and paper being used during these learning opportunities. Not only does it keep the students engaged, but it keeps our walls colorful and fresh!
