My Project

My students come to art class with endless creativity, curiosity, and imagination. They love exploring new materials, taking artistic risks, and finding unique ways to express themselves. As the art teacher for approximately 750 students in grades K–5, I strive to provide meaningful creative experiences that help every child feel successful and proud of their work.

I am requesting tempera paint sticks to give my students an exciting and accessible way to create colorful artwork.

These paint sticks are easy for young artists to use and allow students to focus on creating, exploring, and expressing their ideas. Students will use them for lessons in color theory, landscapes, mixed-media artwork, illustrations, and creative projects throughout the school year.

The paint sticks will also support students with diverse learning needs by providing a tool that is easy to hold, easy to control, and encourages independence. My goal is to give every student the opportunity to create confidently and experience the joy of making art.

For many of my students, art is the place where they feel the most creative, confident, and successful. With your support, these materials will help our young artists shine.
