This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many students struggle with counting money, yet, it is one of the most important real-world math skills they need for everyday life. This project will provide hands-on materials like storage bags, fidget toys and finger toys with engaging activities that will help students reinforce how to identify coins and bills, count mixed amounts, and understand the value of money in practical situations.

By strengthening money-counting skills, students are not only improving their math abilities but also gaining independence and confidence for real-world situations like shopping, saving, and budgeting.

This project will help make math meaningful, accessible, and empowering for all learners.
