Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students I service come from hard-working families; all with unique needs and varying academic levels. This year my students are all learning from home. My students are all eager to learn and need resources to help support their distance learning. I am an intervention specialist and need to be able to service my students learning from home.
Despite the challenges we will face through distance learning, my students are eager to learn and their parents are eager to support them.
My Project
My role as an intervention specialist is to help struggling students and this year is like no other. Great Leaps digital allows me to work with students who are learning from home and share the data with their teachers.
Help boost students to feel more confident and positive about their reading skills!.
I have the hard copy of the Great Leaps program, which will help students who are live in school for years to come. Since most students are remote right now, having digital licenses will help track the progress of students remotely. The license is good for one student for the entire year.
I have seen the program in "action" and have watched students who refused to pick up a book look forward to their 1 on 1 live reading support time.
Please help me show off student growth - when students and their families can see visually all of their hard work paying off the progress really take off. The ability to read is a gift that never stops giving!
