Helping Struggling Learners Begin To Read/LeapPad Books

My students need one set of Phonemic Awareness LeapPad books, one set of All Around Me Storybook Set books, and one set of Interactive Decodable Classroom books.

I teach 44 wonderful kindergarten students--23 in the morning and 21 in the afternoon. These students have a variety of learning levels and abilities. Many of them have been to preschool, and others are having their first school experience as they begin kindergarten.

Due to the wide difference in the learning levels of the students, I have many children who are struggling to learn basic literacy skills, while others are much more fluent in their reading abilities.

In order to reach my struggling learners, I need to provide small group work and center time where appropriate materials are available for a variety of ability levels. These interactive and engaging LeapPad books will provide that opportunity for my little students who are already behind many of their peers.
