Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come to school everyday eager and willing to learn. They face daily challenges in reading comprehension and fluency.
My students are a wonderful group of children.
They enjoy school and work very hard in all academic areas. They attend public school. They are always on the lookout for new books to use in their small-group ELA centers. They make such a tremendous effort to improve their reading and writing skills.
My Project
I am requesting leveled non-fiction readers so that my students can receive differentiated instruction on their level. These supplies will make such a difference in my student's daily activities. I will be able to create small group learning centers and they will be able to partner-up and read together. These resources will help my students understand author's purpose, sequencing, inferencing, details and drawing conclusions.
This project is so important to me.
