This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Who said Fairy Tales can not come together to teach STEAM-guided activities? "Not I," said the Cat (me in this case). Although The Little Red Hen story is a fable, it is one of those stories you never forget. I remember fairy tales fondly as they were being read to me and my classmates as a child in primary school. My teacher would read the stories and had us chime in during the repetitive lines in the book. I want to do just that for my little students. I want them to remember and enjoy Fairy Tales as I did and leave a positive and lasting impact on their lives while implementing STEAM standards and foundations.

With this Fairy Tales STEAM kit, my students will develop a love for Fairy Tales while boosting an interest in STEAM.

This Fairy Tales STEAM kit Set will offer hands-on experiences that will enhance their understanding of literature and science. The children will become problem solvers as they discuss ideas and solutions to the literature plots and their STEAM-guided creations. They will have the opportunity to act on the lines using the animated puppets that each story comes with building on language and literacy skills. This STEAM kit will also promote creativity and mastery of early engineering.
