Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Pre-K students come to school each day eager to learn, explore, and grow. In an early childhood classroom, having access to daily snacks and essential cleaning supplies helps create a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment where students can focus on learning and development.

Many of my students rely on school for consistency and routine.

Healthy snacks help keep little learners energized, focused, and ready to participate throughout the day. For young children, especially in an EC Pre-K classroom, snack time also supports social skills, independence, communication, and classroom community building.

Cleaning supplies are equally important in our busy classroom. Pre-K students learn through hands-on play, sensory activities, and shared materials, making disinfecting wipes, tissues, and liquid hand soap essential for maintaining a clean and healthy space. A sanitized classroom helps reduce the spread of germs and keeps students present and ready to learn.

With your support, our classroom will have the basic necessities needed to help students feel cared for, comfortable, and successful each day. These supplies will directly support student wellness, classroom hygiene, and a positive learning environment where every child can thrive.
