This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have had an influx of migrant students and families in need of basic necessities. Not only are the students in need of a quality education, but they need to feel a sense of home and community. They want to feel less anxious that they are no longer where they've lived before.

These families have been displaced and are in search of a better life.

Our goal for this project is to have our families feel a little less stressed or worried that they don't have soap or shampoo to keep themselves clean and other necessities.

We want our families to feel like a part of our community.
