Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love the curiosity that my students bring to the classroom. I believe that these selected items will help cultivate that curiosity that they have. For example, students begin learning about the Solar System in the 3rd grade. While learning, having a solar system model will help students to identify certain planets and their correct placement.

Also, materials such as the paper holders will help to organize materials within our Makerspace.

My students deserve to have materials that will supplement their learning and as their STEM teacher, I want to do my best in making sure that they have access to those resources.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
